“Irvington Haunts” Haunted and Infamous Irvington
The night was warm with gusty winds, quick moving clouds and an almost completely full moon. With the winds rapidly changing from silent stillness to noisy moaning, the night was perfect for a ghost hunt. And the participants were not disappointed. Hunter's and Simnick’s knowledge of the details of each of the haunting sites was deep and his presentation was lively and reflected his love of the subject. Why is Irvington so haunted? At first blush, it is full of places that have been home to madmen and maniacs, outlaws, and tyrants. Yet there is more that tempts so many souls – both living and dead – to remain in Irvington. An otherworldly air hangs over the town like icicles over a gutter on an Indiana morning. –Irvington Haunts
Come join us for an evening of ghostly and historical tales about Irvington.
